Junior - Business Analyst
About the role
Lakru Packaging is seeking a Junior Business Analyst & Personal Analyst to the Managing Director, focusing on digital systems, automation, and operations. The role involves working closely with executive leadership, supporting decision-making, synthesizing operational and financial data, and participating in high-level meetings. Responsibilities include mapping workflows, documenting SOPs, preparing for ERP implementation, building automated tools in Google Workspace, and experimenting with AI-driven automation. The ideal candidate will have a background bridging business and technology, strong spreadsheet and process documentation skills, and a proactive, self-directed approach. This position offers direct executive exposure, broad operational involvement, and a rapid growth pathway within the company.
Must have
- 6 months to 2 years of professional experience (including structured, full-time industrial/tech internships or entry-level analyst roles).
- Degree / Higher Diploma in Management Information Systems (MIS), Business Information Technology (BIT), Computer Science & Business, or a related field bridging business and technology.
- Confident in Google Sheets / Excel (lookups, QUERY, data validation, structured table layouts).
- Familiar with flowcharting tools (Lucidchart, Miro, Draw.io, or Visio).
- Practical familiarity with how tools connect via APIs, webhooks, or no-code platforms (Make, Zapier, or Google Apps Script).
- Regular user of modern LLMs (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) who understands how to build structured prompts and organize context for business tasks.
- Understands workplace ethics, punctuality, clear communication, and how to handle executive-level confidentiality.
- Comfortable walking the factory floor, talking to supervisors and operators, and translating shop-floor realities into structured documentation.
- Self-directed; figures things out using research and experimentation rather than waiting for micro-instructions.
Nice to have
- Prior exposure to a tech company, digital agency, startup, or modern manufacturing/supply chain environment is an advantage.
