Data Quality Assurance Lead
About the role
The Data Quality Assurance Lead will be responsible for leading QA activities for data projects and enhancements in a hybrid work environment based in Colombo. The role involves designing and executing test plans, test cases, and automation scripts, validating data across pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehouses, managing defects, performing root cause analysis, and collaborating with Data Engineers, Business Analysts, and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in both manual and automation testing, as well as strong data validation and SQL skills.
Must have
- 6+ years of QA experience.
- Strong Manual and Automation Testing experience.
- Solid SQL and data validation skills.
- Experience testing ETL/ELT processes, Data Pipelines, and Data Warehouses.
- Exposure to the technologies listed above.
- Experience in Manual Testing, Automation Testing, ETL/ELT, Data Pipelines, and Data Warehouses is mandatory.
Nice to have
- Insurance/financial services domain experience, CI/CD exposure, and ISTQB certification.
