About the role
The Senior Associate, Private Equity Compliance & Regulatory Management Support at EY will be responsible for supporting business leaders through reporting, data analysis, project coordination, and operational management. The role focuses on monitoring and managing independence compliance requirements for major UK-headquartered Private Equity groups, ensuring compliance with SEC, EU, UK, and EY independence regulations. Key responsibilities include supporting quarterly compliance procedures, reconciling account structures, monitoring industry announcements, supporting independence procedures for acquisitions, and engaging with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities, with experience in professional services and advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and BI tools.
Must have
- Graduate / Post-graduate - (Business Administration, Information and Data Science) with 3 - 6 years’ work experience in professional services industry.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Nice to have
- The role demands expertise in Power BI and related Microsoft Power Platform tools, including PowerApps and Power Automate, to design, develop, and maintain robust data solutions. A strong work ethic, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to accuracy and timeliness are essential to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Experience doing secondary research using Google and other external sources like Factiva, Company Inforgator, BoardEx, OneSource etc
- Content management – Familiar with maintenance of SharePoint, preparation of newsletters, managing surveys etc
- Private Equity/Investment Banking Industry experience preferable but not essential.
