About the role
The Quality Assurance Engineer at Mitra Innovation will be responsible for both manual and automated testing of various applications, including desktop, web, mobile, and API-based systems. The role involves understanding requirements, writing and executing test cases, reporting results, automating test scripts, setting up automation frameworks, and troubleshooting issues. The engineer will also be expected to stay current with the latest automation tools and trends, communicate effectively with teams and stakeholders, and ensure timely delivery and escalation of project risks or issues. Mitra Innovation is a collaborative technology company focused on delivering secure, scalable solutions for global clients.
Must have
- B.Sc. in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent professional qualification.
- 2 - 3 years of relevant experience in Automation Mandatory.
- ISTQB Certifications
- Knowledge in Web and Mobile technologies.
- Knowledge in Java, Java Script, C#, Node JS, Python or any other.
- Knowledge in Unit test frameworks
- Experience in Selenium, Playwright or any other
- Experience in BDD Cucumber Framework or any other.
- Experience in API Testing using Postman and API Automation using Rest Assured or Rest Sharp.
- Experience in Mobile testing and mobile Automation using Appium or any other.
- Knowledge in AI related automation tools
- Competency around test management tools and defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, Xray
- Knowledge of DevOps/CI/CD processes
- Good analytical skills, troubleshooting, and resolution skills
- Ability to self-learn and grasp knowledge quickly
- Knowledge of database structure languages, such as SQL.
