Data Analyst
About the role
Michelin is seeking a Data Analyst to collect, analyze, and utilize data to support business decision-making and value creation. The role involves preparing data for analysis, building dashboards and reports, providing data-driven recommendations, and maintaining documentation. The Data Analyst will also contribute to advanced analytics initiatives, support the data analyst community, and provide technical coaching to business users. Candidates should have a background in computer science or data science, relevant technical experience, and proficiency in tools such as Power BI, Python, and SQL. The position supports Michelin's manufacturing operations and emphasizes data governance and collaboration across teams.
Must have
- BSc/BEng in Computer Science, Data Science or equivalent qualification.
- 3 - 4 years of Data Analytics or related technical experience.
- Hands-on experience in Business Intelligent solutions such as Power BI and M365 platform.
- Proficiency in the use of Python and SQL.
- Ability to set priorities, work independently, and consistently deliver results with minimal direction.
- Proven success working across teams, with the ability to clearly communicate in diverse, multi-functional environments.
- Skilled at analyzing data, identifying patterns, and ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all work.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
Nice to have
- Working experience with any advance analytics application as is an added advantage.
