Executive - Operational Analytics
About the role
The Executive - Operational Analytics role involves gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements from clients and internal stakeholders. The position is responsible for developing process maps, SOPs, workflows, and business documentation, as well as creating dashboards, reports, and performance insights using business analytics tools. The role also includes analyzing operational data to identify trends and inefficiencies, supporting process improvement initiatives, conducting root cause analysis, and communicating findings to business leaders and clients. Candidates should have a relevant bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of experience in business analytics or a similar field, with strong proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and process mapping tools. The position is based in Colombo and operates on a UK shift schedule.
Must have
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Business Analytics, Business Administration, or a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and data analysis techniques.
- Experience in process mapping and documentation using Visio or similar tools.
- Knowledge of business process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
Nice to have
- Experience working with client-facing stakeholders is an added advantage.
