GDS_Independence Assurance Support Group QTT Senior Associate
About the role
The Senior Associate in the Independence Assurance Support Group at EY will execute globally defined processes in accordance with EY Global Independence policies, supporting the firm's compliance as an independent auditor. The role involves performing procedures, secondary research, analysis, and updates to EY tools and databases, as well as communicating with audit teams to resolve queries and gather information. Key responsibilities include developing expertise in Independence concepts, reviewing work of junior analysts, leading knowledge sessions, and collaborating with global teams to strengthen compliance frameworks. Candidates must have a master's or post-graduate degree (preferably in Finance), 3-5 years of experience in secondary research and analysis in a professional services firm, and strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills. Must have
- Masters/post-graduate degree (preferably in Finance) from a reputed institute.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in secondary research and analysis in a professional services firm.
- Well-developed analytical, interpersonal, and communication (both verbal and written) skills in English
- Basic understanding of type of company structures, Ownership structures, awareness of auditor Independence and basic risk management concepts.
- Experience in MS office suites like Microsoft 365, MS excel, PowerPoint
Nice to have
- Candidates with exposure of handing client interaction would be preferred.
