About the role
Asia Pacific Technology Systems (Pvt) Ltd (APTS) is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Banking Applications to join their team in Colombo. The role involves leading end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of banking application projects, managing scope, timelines, budgets, and resources, and coordinating cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders. The Project Manager will also be responsible for monitoring project progress, managing risks, ensuring quality and compliance, coordinating logistics, leading deployment and user training, and providing regular updates to management and clients. Candidates should have proven project management experience in banking or financial services, strong planning and stakeholder management skills, excellent analytical and organizational abilities, and a relevant bachelor's degree. PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification is considered an advantage.
Must have
- Proven project management experience in banking or financial services
- Strong planning, coordination, expediting, and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Strong attention to quality, compliance, and deadlines
- Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
Nice to have
- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification will be an advantage
