AI Mastery and Digital Innovation Lecturer
About the role
The AI Mastery and Digital Innovation Lecturer at Inspire College is responsible for designing, delivering, and updating lectures and course content in artificial intelligence, digital innovation, and related emerging technologies. The role includes preparing lesson plans, conducting interactive classes, mentoring students, assessing performance, and providing feedback. Additional responsibilities involve collaborating with academic teams to align courses with industry needs, integrating real-world case studies, contributing to curriculum development, and supporting student projects and research. The lecturer is also expected to engage in continuous professional development and participate in academic meetings. Inspire College is a fully online higher education provider in Sri Lanka, focused on flexible, globally aligned programs and digital innovation.
Must have
- Strong knowledge of artificial intelligence, machine learning concepts, and digital innovation frameworks, with the ability to explain complex topics in accessible ways.
- Experience designing and delivering higher education or professional training programs, including syllabus development, assessment design, and learning outcome alignment.
- Proficiency with digital teaching tools and platforms (e.g., LMS systems, video conferencing, collaborative online tools) and comfort integrating technology into pedagogy.
- Demonstrated ability to guide, mentor, and support diverse learners, with strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Education, or a related field; a master’s degree or higher is preferred.
- Commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory educational practices and a learner-centered teaching approach.
- Ability to work collaboratively with academic and administrative teams and contribute to the growth of an innovative higher education institution.
