IT Manager
About the role
The IT Manager at Mandarina Colombo is a strategic leadership role responsible for leading and transforming the hotel's information technology landscape. The position involves developing and executing the hotel's IT strategy, managing IT infrastructure, networks, and systems, and ensuring cybersecurity and business continuity. The IT Manager will oversee technology platforms, manage IT budgets, lead digital transformation initiatives, and mentor the IT team. The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with a focus on operational excellence and guest satisfaction in a hospitality environment.
Must have
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive IT leadership experience, preferably within the hospitality, tourism, or service sectors.
- Strong knowledge of hotel systems, networking, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, and enterprise applications.
- Proven experience managing complex IT environments and leading technology transformation projects.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in budget management and vendor negotiations.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
Nice to have
- Professional certifications such as, CISM, PMP, Microsoft, Cisco, or related qualifications will be advantageous.
