About the role

The Senior Data Protection SRE at LSEG will be responsible for administering and engineering the data protection platform, focusing on automation, reliability, observability, and operational excellence. The role involves driving the adoption of SRE principles, Infrastructure as Code, automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and AI-powered operational efficiencies across backup services. The successful candidate will have deep expertise in Rubrik and will work to transform backup operations into a highly automated and resilient platform engineering team. Key responsibilities include developing automation solutions, managing CI/CD pipelines, integrating APIs, building self-service and self-healing capabilities, and leading continuous improvement initiatives. The position is part of a global team supporting a 24x5 operational environment and offers opportunities for mentoring, strategic input, and cross-team collaboration within a leading global financial markets infrastructure provider.
