Python Lead
About the role
The Python Lead role is an onsite position responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing applications using Python, adhering to established coding standards and best practices. The role involves working with a technology stack that includes Python, Linux (via WSL), PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Databricks, and cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure and AWS. Key responsibilities include integrating with ITSM platforms like Freshdesk and Freshchat, troubleshooting API and integration issues, configuring automations and workflows, designing data models, supporting outbound communication workflows, contributing to CI/CD automation, maintaining technical documentation, and mentoring junior team members. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on Python development experience and a strong background in ITSM integration, workflow configuration, data processing, frontend technologies, application security, and team mentorship.
Must have
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Python development.
- Experience integrating with ITSM platforms such as Freshdesk and Freshchat.
- Experience configuring workflows, automations, SLAs, routing rules, and inbox logic.
- Familiarity with Databricks and large-scale data processing.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for frontend widget configuration.
- Understanding of outbound communication systems, including email and push notification workflows.
- Experience with application security assessments and API standards compliance.
- Experience mentoring junior developers and contributing to engineering best practices.
