Internal Quality Assurer- Hospitality
About the role
Langford College is seeking an experienced and qualified Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) for Hospitality to join their academic quality team. The role involves internally quality assuring Hospitality assessments and learner work, sampling and reviewing assessment decisions made by tutors/assessors, ensuring assessments meet awarding body and qualification requirements, monitoring the quality, consistency, and fairness of assessment decisions, providing feedback and guidance to assessors, maintaining accurate IQA records, supporting standardisation activities, and ensuring compliance with academic and quality assurance policies. Candidates must have a relevant IQA qualification, a strong academic or industry background in Hospitality, and experience in quality assurance of Hospitality-related qualifications. The position is contract-based and offers flexible remote working.
Must have
- Relevant IQA qualification such as Level 4 Award/Certificate in Internal Quality Assurance or equivalent
- Strong academic/industry background in Hospitality
- Experience in quality assurance of Hospitality-related qualifications
- Good understanding of UK qualification and assessment standards
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong communication and report-writing skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Nice to have
- Experience working with Level 3, Level 4, Level 5 and/or Level 7 qualifications is an advantage
