About the role
sixn.ai is seeking a full-time, on-site Artificial Intelligence Engineer intern in Colombo to design, develop, and implement AI models and agentic workflows for real-world business problems. The role involves building and training neural networks, applying NLP techniques, integrating AI components into production software, and optimizing performance. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions and maintaining deployed AI agents are key aspects of the position. The company focuses on building and operating agentic AI systems that streamline business operations for clients.
Must have
- Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development, including data structures, algorithms, and production-quality coding practices.
- Practical expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP), including model training, evaluation, and deployment.
- Proficiency with AI/ML frameworks and tools and modern software development stacks.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical architectures and deliver scalable AI solutions.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and capacity to work collaboratively in an on-site, team-based environment.
