Senior Lead - DevOps
About the role
The Senior Lead / Lead – DevOps position at Bridge BSS Talent involves architecting and leading all DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) areas for three products. The role is responsible for designing deployment architectures for SaaS platforms, ensuring high availability of mission-critical deployments across regions, and leading a team of skilled engineers. The position requires hands-on involvement in all aspects of DevOps, collaboration with development and solution teams, and mentoring team members. Candidates should have a strong background in distributed systems, DevOps tools, Linux system administration, and experience managing technical teams. Must have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field or BSc equivalent qualification with 7+ year(s) experience.
- Extensive experience in distributed systems is essential.
- Extensive experience in K8S, GCP, Docker, observability tools, middleware, is essential.
- Extensive experience in various DevOps tools such as Helm, Ansible is required.
- Extensive experience in Linux system administration tools is required.
- Experience in tools used in troubleshooting Java, C++ services.
- Experience in performance troubleshooting of backend services, databases, message brokers, load balancers, etc.
- Experience in various monitoring tools such as Prometheus.
- Well experienced in various databases, Kubernetes, various load balancers, GCP.
- Extensive experience with Linux/Unix system administration.
- Sound knowledge of operating system concepts.
- Very good communication skill in Sinhala/English is essential.
- Experience in managing technical teams.

Highlights
