About the role
Nexentra is seeking an AI Automation Engineer to help streamline operations and drive efficiency through AI-powered solutions. The role involves identifying and automating repetitive business processes, developing AI-powered workflows and chatbots, integrating business systems using tools like n8n, Zapier, or Make, and collaborating with teams across various business units. The ideal candidate will have experience in automation, software development, or systems integration, and be comfortable working with APIs, webhooks, and scripting languages. The position offers the opportunity to work with a leading business group and contribute to innovative process improvements.
Must have
- A Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 1–2 years of experience in automation, software development, or systems integration. Internships and substantial personal projects are welcome.
- Hands-on experience with workflow automation tools such as n8n, Zapier, or Make.
- Working knowledge of APIs, webhooks, JSON, JavaScript or Python, and basic SQL.
- Exposure to LLM tools or APIs and prompt engineering.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and practical problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical colleagues.
- The ability to manage multiple requests, prioritise tasks, and handle company data and credentials responsibly.
