About the role
Capsicumlabs is hiring a Senior IT Generalist to support a listed mining developer with a small corporate team across Australia and Europe. This hands-on role involves taking ownership of IT operations, managing service providers, and communicating confidently with executives and board members. Key responsibilities include administering Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra ID, strengthening IT security, managing service providers, leading migration projects, managing software licensing, evaluating SaaS tools, and working with senior stakeholders.
Must have
- Administer Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Strengthen IT security, including administrator access controls and multi-factor authentication.
- Manage the incumbent managed service provider (MSP) and support the re-tendering process.
- Lead the migration of a legacy on-premises file server to SharePoint and Azure.
- Manage software licensing.
- Evaluate and implement new SaaS tools as business needs arise.
- Work directly with senior stakeholders, including the President, Chairman and board.
