SAP Implementation Manager
About the role
The SAP Implementation Manager/Assistant Manager will oversee the end-to-end implementation of SAP systems for a leading food and beverages manufacturing company in Colombo. The role involves defining project scope, managing milestones, allocating resources, and handling budgets using methodologies such as SAP Activate. The manager will serve as a liaison between senior leadership, internal department heads, and external SAP consultants, ensuring stakeholder alignment. Responsibilities also include driving change management initiatives, managing user training and communication, and resolving technical or timeline issues related to SAP implementation. Candidates should have significant experience in ERP project management, particularly with SAP, and possess strong skills in system migration, agile methodologies, and business workflow optimization.
Must have
- Typically requires 5 + years of dedicated ERP system project management, with a sharp focus on handling major SAP lifecycles.
- Proficiency in system migration, agile framework execution (Scrum/Sprint planning), business workflow optimization, and multi-module cross-functional alignment (e.g., FICO, MM, SD).
- A bachelor's degree in information technology, Software Engineering, or Business Administration.
Nice to have
- Experiences in FMCG/Manufacturing Company will definitely advantage.
- Project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or official SAP project delivery standards are highly coveted.
