Unity Developer
About the role
Envision Studio is seeking a Unity Developer intern to join their remote team and contribute to the development and optimization of interactive Unity-based applications. The role involves working on XR, gaming, and simulation projects, collaborating with a global team of designers, developers, and 3D artists. Key responsibilities include developing game mechanics, implementing UI, debugging gameplay elements, and integrating assets and animations. The ideal candidate is currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field, and has a strong interest in Unity development, familiarity with C# scripting, game physics, and basic knowledge of Git. Envision Studio is based in Colombo, Sri Lanka, and specializes in AR, VR, and MR applications for gaming and enterprise solutions.
Must have
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field.
- Strong interest in Unity development and interactive game mechanics.
- Familiarity with C# scripting and game physics.
- Basic understanding of Git for version control.
- Passion for problem-solving, innovation, and continuous learning.
Nice to have
- Experience with Unreal Engine alongside Unity.
- Exposure to 3D modeling and animation (Maya, Blender, Substance Painter).
- Participation in Game Jams or personal game development projects.
- Understanding of AI programming or multiplayer networking.
