Manager - SAP
About the role
The Manager – SAP at Teejay Lanka PLC will lead the SAP applications team, overseeing SAP systems including ERP, S/4HANA, Basis, custom developments, and functional modules. The role involves supporting core operations such as production planning, supply chain, finance, and plant maintenance, as well as leading new version updates and migrations. Key responsibilities include managing the SAP team, driving SAP strategy, overseeing system performance, managing incidents and enhancements, partnering with business stakeholders, leading SAP projects, managing vendors, and ensuring effective governance and change management. The position requires strong expertise in SAP modules, experience in manufacturing environments, leadership in SAP teams, hands-on SAP implementation experience, and strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Must have
- Strong expertise in SAP modules (PP, MM, SD, FI/CO, PM) with knowledge of ABAP and Basis administration.
- Experience in SAP solutions within a manufacturing environment, including production and supply chain processes.
- Proven leadership experience in managing cross-functional SAP teams.
- Hands-on experience in SAP implementations, upgrades, migrations, and system integrations.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
