About the role
This internship position is focused on supporting software testing activities, identifying defects, and helping maintain product quality through effective QA practices. The intern will be involved in testing web and mobile applications, reporting bugs, and working closely with developers and project managers to improve product quality. The role includes a 3-month probationary period, after which continued employment and salary will be determined based on performance. Candidates should have a basic understanding of QA concepts and a strong attention to detail.
Must have
- Ability to test web and mobile applications, identify bugs, and ensure system quality before release
- Basic understanding of test cases, test scenarios, functional testing, UI testing, and regression testing
- Ability to clearly report bugs with screenshots, steps to reproduce, and expected vs actual results
- Strong attention to detail and ability to understand software requirements and user flows
- Good communication skills to work with developers, project managers, and clients to improve product quality
Nice to have
- Basic knowledge of APIs, databases, or automation testing will be an added advantage
- Passion for finding issues, improving software quality, and learning modern QA practices will be an added advantage
