About the role
The Manager - Digital Solutions at Teejay Lanka PLC will lead digital transformation initiatives across manufacturing, marketing, sales operations, and support functions, with a focus on automation, IoT, data platforms, and innovative digital applications to improve efficiency, productivity, and decision-making. Key responsibilities include leading automation and IoT projects, managing data warehousing and analytics platforms, overseeing digital application development, aligning digital initiatives with organizational strategy, building and mentoring a digital team, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver solutions. The role requires significant experience in digital technologies, leadership, and project management within a manufacturing or industrial context.
Must have
- 8–12 years of experience in digital technologies, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record in automation systems, IoT platforms, and industrial connectivity.
- Strong background in data warehousing, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), and analytics tools.
- Experience in manufacturing processes and Industry 4.0 standards.
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional digital projects.
- Experience leading digital development teams.
- Leadership, project management, and vendor management skills.
- BSc in Computer Science, data science, or a similar qualification
Nice to have
- MBA/MSC will be an added qualification
- PMP / PRINCE2 (Project Management)
