Senior Technical Lead
About the role
The Senior Technical Lead will be responsible for driving the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade technology solutions within the Banking and Financial Services sector. This hands-on leadership role involves leading and mentoring software engineering teams, defining solution architectures, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring adherence to security, compliance, and quality standards. The role requires a strong background in Java development, technical leadership, and experience with large-scale banking integrations and migrations. Must have
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 9 years of overall experience in software development and technology delivery.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Senior Technical Lead or in an equivalent technical leadership role.
- Proven experience in large-scale core banking or business banking migrations and support-oriented engagements.
- Strong understanding of banking systems, financial technology platforms, payment systems, digital banking solutions, or core banking integrations.
- Demonstrated experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale applications in highly regulated environments.
- Strong hands-on experience in Java development and technical leadership.
- Expertise in software architecture, system integration, API development, and enterprise application design.
- Experience leading and mentoring development teams.
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and modern software development practices.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, microservices, and containerized architectures.
- Relevant industry or technical certifications.
