Associate Project Manager
About the role
The Associate Project Manager at Epic will join a team focused on delivering nationally recognized software solutions, with opportunities to develop expertise in Fintech. The role involves managing software development and project management tasks, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and controlling of software projects. Key responsibilities include understanding software development technologies and solution architecture, proposal writing, and ensuring quality assurance processes. The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree, PMP certification, and 1-3 years of experience in software development or project management. Must have
- Degree/ MSc in Information Technology, Software Engineering or Project Management
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in Software Development and/or Project Management
- Understanding of Software Development Technologies and Solution Architecture including but not limited to Java Technologies, MVC Architecture, Multi-tier Architecture, Open Architecture, Oracle, MYSQL, Big Data respectively
- Experience in Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring, and Controlling of Software Projects
- Good understanding of both Waterfall and Agile/Scrum Software Development methodologies
- Experience in Proposal writing (both technical and financial)
- Understanding of Quality Assurance needs and processes associated with Functional, Regression, Performance and Automation Testing
- Excellent communicator with fluency in the English Language both written and spoken
Nice to have
- Experience in Payment Solutions will be preferred
