IT Technician
About the role
The IT Technician will provide technical support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, maintain IT systems, and ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the organization's IT infrastructure. Key responsibilities include first-level technical support, installing and troubleshooting computers and network equipment, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software problems, configuring operating systems and applications, maintaining network infrastructure, and managing user accounts and permissions. Candidates should have relevant qualifications and knowledge in IT, computer hardware, software, and networking, with good troubleshooting skills. Must have
- Diploma, Higher Diploma, or relevant professional qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking, or a related field.
- Basic to good knowledge of computer hardware and software.
- Knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, printers, and networking.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Nice to have
- Previous experience in an IT support or technician role will be an added advantage.
