System Administrator – Atlassian Cloud
About the role
The System Administrator – Atlassian Cloud will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing the organization's Atlassian environment, including Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management (JSM), and Bitbucket. The role involves platform administration, workflow automation, user access management, system integrations, troubleshooting, and ensuring a secure and efficient working environment. Key responsibilities include configuring and optimizing Jira projects and workflows, managing Confluence spaces and permissions, supporting JSM service portals, handling user accounts and platform security, supporting system integrations, troubleshooting issues, coordinating platform updates, monitoring licences and plugins, and maintaining technical documentation. The position requires proven experience in Atlassian Cloud administration and related technical skills.
Must have
- Proven experience in Atlassian Cloud administration, particularly Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management.
- Hands-on experience configuring Jira workflows, automation rules, permissions, and project settings.
- Practical knowledge of JSM service portals, request management, queues, and SLA configurations.
- Familiarity with Bitbucket administration, user access management, and repository permissions.
- Understanding of system integrations, REST APIs, webhooks, and third-party Atlassian applications.
- Knowledge of platform security, incident management, change management, and troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Atlassian Rovo or AI-powered workflow automation would be an added advantage.
