IT System Administrator
About the role
The IT System Administrator at House of Fashions will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting the company's IT infrastructure across the head office, retail outlets, and warehouse. The role is crucial for ensuring smooth operations of retail systems, POS terminals, networks, servers, and security systems. Key responsibilities include installing, configuring, and troubleshooting operating systems and software, managing networks and security measures, maintaining hardware, monitoring system health, and providing technical support. The position also involves maintaining IT documentation and coordinating with vendors for procurement and maintenance.
Must have
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar role (Retail experience preferred)
- HND/Diploma or Degree in IT, Network Administration, Computer Science, or related field
- Proven experience in POS, and inventory systems
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols and firewall management
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware / Hyper-V) is an advantage
- Familiarity with Windows Server, Linux, and cloud technologies
- knowledge of MS SQL/database management will be an added advantage
- Experience in Crystal Report development is an advantage
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
