AI & Automation Intern
About the role
The AI & Automation Intern at IFS will join the Governance, Risk & Compliance team to explore how artificial intelligence, automation, and data analytics can transform risk management, audits, controls monitoring, and insights generation. This practical internship involves building, testing, and improving real solutions using technologies such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude, Power BI, and Power Automate. Responsibilities include prototyping AI solutions, automating GRC activities, supporting AI-enabled internal audits, developing risk monitoring tools, and enhancing data analytics dashboards. Candidates should be currently pursuing a relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree and possess core skills in Power BI, generative AI tools, and data analytics. Must have
- You are currently studying toward a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Software Engineering, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or another relevant technology or quantitative discipline.
- Power BI: dashboards, data visualization and analytical reporting.
- Microsoft Copilot: practical use of generative AI for analysis and problem-solving.
- Claude: analysis, reasoning, document review and AI experimentation.
- Generative AI: understanding of LLMs, prompting and evaluation of AI outputs.
- AI and automation: ability to identify opportunities and prototype solutions.
- Data analytics and Excel: ability to structure, analyze and interpret data.
Nice to have
- Copilot Studio, Power Automate or Microsoft Fabric.
- Python, SQL, APIs or system integrations.
- Agentic AI, machine learning or AI testing techniques.
