Lead Software Engineer – .NET/Angular
About the role
This role is for a Lead Software Engineer specializing in .NET and Angular, responsible for building and delivering next-generation SaaS applications using modern technologies and engineering practices. The position requires hands-on technical leadership, including mentoring, code reviews, and overseeing the development process. Key responsibilities include working with .NET, Angular, SQL Server/PostgreSQL, AWS, and scalable SaaS architectures, as well as implementing DDD, CQRS, Event-Driven Architecture, BFF, and API Gateway patterns. The ideal candidate will also have experience with automated testing, CI/CD, production support, and AI-assisted development tools. The role is based in Sri Lanka.
Must have
- 10–15 years of software engineering experience
- Strong hands-on expertise in .NET, Angular & SQL Server/PostgreSQL
- Experience with AWS and scalable SaaS applications
- Strong knowledge of DDD, CQRS, Event-Driven Architecture, BFF & API Gateway
- Proven experience in technical leadership, mentoring & code reviews
- Strong experience in automated testing, CI/CD and production support
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor or Claude Code
