Engineer - Managed Services
About the role
The company is seeking a .NET Engineer based in Sri Lanka to join their Managed Services team. The role involves designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing applications built on the modern .NET ecosystem, with a focus on system modernization, legacy re-architecture, and database integrations. Responsibilities include collaborating with developers and business analysts, supporting data integration between MultiValue databases and modern platforms, providing Tier-2/3 production support, and maintaining high-quality code standards. Candidates should have hands-on experience with recent C# and .NET versions, JavaScript, ASP.NET, Entity Framework, and Azure cloud services, as well as familiarity with Git and Azure DevOps workflows.
Must have
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in-depth, practical knowledge of recent C# versions (C# 10 or higher) and modern language features.
- Modern .NET: Hands-on experience with recent framework releases (.NET 8 or higher).
- Core Tech Stack: Proven experience across JavaScript, ASP.NET, and Entity Framework (EF).
- Azure Environment: Clear understanding and working knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud hosting and services.
- Git & Azure DevOps: Understanding of source control practices (Git), including branch management and PR workflows in Azure DevOps.
- Development Environment: Strong fluency and comfort navigating of Visual Studio (IDE)
Nice to have
- DevExpress: Prior experience working with the DevExpress UI library is highly desirable.
- Exposure to Rocket Unidata will be an added advantage.
