IT Officer
About the role
The IT Officer at Richard Pieris Finance will provide technical support and troubleshooting, first-level IT support for hardware, software, and network issues, and assist with the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices. The role also involves user account setup and maintenance, responding to support requests, monitoring and maintaining LAN and Wi-Fi connectivity, performing basic server room tasks, installing and updating operating systems and business applications, ensuring adherence to IT policies, and helping maintain endpoint security and data backup processes. Candidates should have a diploma or NVQ Level 4/5 in IT or a related field, 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Must have
- Diploma or NVQ Level 4/5 in Information Technology, Computer Hardware, Networking or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to support non-technical users.
- Good problem-solving and time management skills.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in an IT career.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Nice to have
- A Bachelor’s Degree in IT will be an added advantage, but is not compulsory.
