About the role
As an AI Engineer, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of production-grade AI and large language model (LLM) solutions for clients across sectors such as healthcare and legal. The role involves end-to-end ownership of AI solutions, building RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, and fine-tuned models, as well as setting up MLOps pipelines and evaluating models for safety and reliability. You will also mentor Associate AI Engineers and present findings to both the team and clients. The position is based on-site in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
Must have
- 2-4 years of experience in ML or AI development, including at least one solution delivered to production
- Strong Python skills and hands-on experience with LLMs
- Familiarity with frameworks like PyTorch, Hugging Face, or LangChain/LlamaIndex
- Good understanding of AI safety and evaluation methods
- Strong communication skills
