AI Solution Architect
About the role
Gallagher is seeking an AI Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and responsible AI-enabled solutions. The role involves collaborating with engineers and business experts to architect integrations across enterprise systems, APIs, and data workflows, as well as evaluating AI models for quality, security, and business outcomes. The position also emphasizes applying Responsible AI principles, coaching teams, and developing reusable architecture patterns to shape the future of AI at Gallagher. Candidates should have experience in solution, AI, or data architecture, hands-on delivery of AI or machine-learning solutions, and familiarity with LLMs, RAG, APIs, cloud architecture, data platforms, and identity management. The ability to communicate complex AI decisions to diverse audiences and balance business value, risk, quality, and cost is essential. Must have
- Experience in solution architecture, AI architecture, or data architecture.
- Hands-on experience delivering AI or machine-learning solutions into production.
- Knowledge of large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and AI evaluation techniques.
- Familiarity with APIs, cloud architecture, data platforms, and identity management.
- The ability to explain complex AI decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A balanced approach to assessing business value, risk, quality, and cost.
Nice to have
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure AI services, or insurance and financial services.
