Full-Stack Engineer
About the role
Levein Group is seeking a Full-Stack Engineer to design, build, and deploy production web applications for diverse UK sectors from their Colombo, Sri Lanka hub. The role covers the full stack, including frontend, backend, APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure, and involves translating operational requirements into usable software. Responsibilities include integrating AI models, ensuring data security, making architectural decisions, and maintaining technical documentation. The ideal candidate will have strong engineering and communication skills, practical experience with major cloud platforms, and the ability to handle sensitive data securely. Must have
- Proven experience building and deploying production web applications.
- Strong frontend and backend development skills, including modern web frameworks, APIs and databases.
- Practical experience with a major cloud platform such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with document storage, background processing and workflows that may wait for human input.
- Experience integrating AI models or APIs into applications.
- Sound judgment about software architecture and choosing an appropriate technology stack.
- Comfort using AI development tools while taking responsibility for code quality, testing and security.
- Ability to translate operational requirements into straightforward, usable software.
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Adhere to confidentiality and not discuss business matters with others.
Nice to have
- Experience with healthcare applications, sensitive data, document processing or case management systems is a plus.
