Project Manager – AI & Legal-Tech
About the role
The Project Manager – AI & Legal-Tech role is based in Colombo, Sri Lanka and focuses on managing the delivery of AI systems, workflow automation, and platform upgrades. The position involves coordinating with various teams such as Product, Engineering, Compliance, Legal Operations, and leadership to ensure projects are delivered securely, on time, and in compliance with operational requirements. Key responsibilities include developing project plans, managing project scope and changes, tracking risks and dependencies, coordinating user acceptance testing, and supporting system rollout and user training. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, experience in project management, and the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Must have
- Minimum 2 years of experience in technology, product, or software project management.
- Previous experience working with Engineering, Product, or other technical teams.
- Strong organisational, planning, and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, projects, deadlines, and competing priorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify risks and recommend practical solutions.
- Experience preparing project plans, status reports, and supporting documentation.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies would be an advantage.
- An understanding of AI systems, workflow automation, legal technology, or compliance-focused environments would be beneficial.
