Senior Engineer - AI Business Solutions
About the role
The Senior Engineer - AI Business Solutions role is responsible for designing, delivering, and supporting Microsoft Copilot and AI solutions to help customers enhance productivity, collaboration, and business outcomes. The position focuses on Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, and agents, involving use-case discovery, deployment, adoption, governance, and user enablement. The engineer works as a Forward Deployed Engineer, embedded with customer teams to understand business challenges and build AI solutions directly in their environments. Key responsibilities include hands-on AI engineering, model selection, inference optimization, fine-tuning, and model distillation, as well as implementing security and compliance controls and developing adoption roadmaps.
Must have
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience working with Microsoft 365 and AI solutions.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio and agents.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive and Teams.
- Experience with AI model deployment, inference, fine-tuning or distillation.
- Experience working in a customer-facing or forward deployed engineering role.
- Proficiency in Power Platform, PowerShell and Python.
- All relevant Microsoft 365 and AI certifications.
- Strong pre-sales skills, including requirement gathering, solution design and technical presentations.
- Ability to work independently and deliver requirements on time.
- Ability to work closely with clients to identify their problems and propose suitable solutions.
