About the role
The Business Intelligence / Data Warehouse Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining MIS reports, Power BI dashboards, and SSRS paginated reports to support the bank’s reporting and business requirements. The role involves performing data extraction, ETL, validation, and analysis, as well as providing data-driven insights to aid business decisions. The engineer will collaborate with BI, ETL, and business teams to enhance data processes, maintain reporting documentation and controls, and ensure data security. Occasional support for ETL activities during weekends or holidays may be required.
Must have
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, MIS, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Data Warehouse or Business Intelligence roles.
- Strong experience with Power BI, DAX, Power Query, Power BI Report Server, and SSRS.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle SQL, Python, ETL, Data Modelling, and Data Validation.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work extended hours or on a roster basis when required.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Finacle / PRIME is an added advantage.
