Technical Intern
About the role
The Technical Intern at EGUARDIAN will support technical teams with system configuration, troubleshooting, and documentation tasks. The role involves assisting with cybersecurity, cloud, and data center projects, updating knowledge bases, preparing technical presentations, and conducting research on emerging technologies. Interns will participate in training sessions and collaborate with team members to deliver technology solutions, gaining hands-on experience in a professional technology environment. The position is full-time and based on-site in Colombo, offering exposure to real-world client and partner engagements.
Must have
- Foundational knowledge in information technology, networking, or computer systems, with interest in areas such as Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Data Center technologies, or Digital Transformation.
- Ability to assist with technical documentation, including writing clear process notes, implementation guides, and user instructions.
- Basic proficiency in research and analysis to support technology evaluations, solution comparisons, and preparation of technical reports.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams, customers, and channel partners.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Willingness to learn, adapt to new tools and technologies, and follow established procedures and security best practices.
