Azure DevOps Lead Engineer
About the role
Decryptogen is seeking an Azure DevOps Lead Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and management of scalable and secure Azure cloud infrastructure. The role focuses on DevOps automation, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud security. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, deploying and optimizing containerized applications, implementing IaC, managing API Management and WAF, troubleshooting Kubernetes environments, scripting automation, and providing technical leadership to engineering teams. The position requires strong hands-on experience with Azure, DevOps tools, Kubernetes, Terraform, ARM Templates, and scripting, as well as a relevant degree or equivalent experience.
Must have
- Strong hands-on experience in Azure cloud infrastructure and DevOps engineering.
- Proven experience with Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Practical experience with Terraform and ARM Templates.
- Experience working with Azure API Management (APIM) and Web Application Firewall (WAF).
- Familiarity with Komodor for Kubernetes troubleshooting and monitoring.
- Proficiency in Python and PowerShell scripting, including Azure PowerShell modules.
- Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code, cloud networking, security, and automation.
- Experience designing and maintaining production cloud environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and technical leadership skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to have
- Experience leading DevOps teams or managing cloud infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of Azure monitoring, logging, and observability solutions.
- Experience with Docker, Git, and cloud-native architectures.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and cloud security standards.
- Microsoft Azure certifications or relevant DevOps certifications are an advantage.
