Technical Intern
About the role
The Technical Intern at toner.lk is a full-time, on-site position in Colombo, supporting the technical team with printer setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance. The intern will assist in testing printer supplies, organizing inventory, preparing and packaging orders, updating product information, and providing basic technical support to customers. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates with a background in IT, electronics, engineering, or related fields, who are interested in gaining hands-on experience in the printing supplies sector. Must have
- Basic technical knowledge of printers, toner cartridges, and related consumables, with an interest in learning more about printing technologies.
- Ability to perform routine hardware checks, follow troubleshooting guides, and assist in simple repair or maintenance tasks.
- Comfort with using computers and common office software for documentation, inventory updates, and communication.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for handling stock, labeling products, and preparing orders accurately.
- Effective communication skills and a customer-focused mindset to support internal teams and interact with customers professionally.
- Willingness to work on-site in Colombo and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Educational background in IT, electronics, engineering, or a related field (students or recent graduates are encouraged to apply).
