Senior Quality Assurance Lead
About the role
The Senior Quality Assurance Lead will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end quality assurance for technology solutions in the Banking and Financial Services sector. This hands-on leadership role involves leading test planning, execution, governance, and reporting for banking integration and migration projects. The role requires coordinating with customer development, testing, and business teams, managing test risks and defects, and ensuring that testing aligns with business requirements and project objectives. Candidates must have significant experience in QA, particularly in banking integration and migration testing, and possess strong analytical and stakeholder management skills. Must have
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8+ years of overall Quality Assurance / software testing experience.
- Minimum 3+ years leading banking integration and/or migration testing.
- Proven experience in end-to-end testing, test governance, and migration validation.
- Strong understanding of banking systems, financial services processes, and banking integrations.
- Experience in test planning, test execution, defect management, risk tracking, and quality reporting.
- Experience coordinating with customer development, testing, and business teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with core banking platforms and large-scale banking transformation programs.
- Knowledge of APIs, databases, data migration, reconciliation, and system integration testing.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum and modern software delivery practices.
- Relevant QA, testing, banking, Agile, or technical certifications.
