Manager - IT Infrastructure
About the role
The Manager - IT Infrastructure will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic roadmap for the modernization and evolution of the data center IT infrastructure, including the integration of emerging technologies such as cloud, HCI, containerized environments, SDN, and advanced automation. The role oversees the 24/7/365 operation of all data center facilities, ensures scalability and flexibility of system architecture, and maintains compliance with internal and external regulations and certifications. The manager will implement governance frameworks for change and configuration management, design and test high availability architectures, and lead disaster recovery drills to ensure operational resilience. The position requires significant experience in IT infrastructure management and leadership within large, mission-critical data centers, ideally in the banking or financial services sector.
Must have
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Information Technology / Computer Science which recognized by the University Grants Commission.
- A minimum of 8+ years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing a large, mission-critical data center, preferably within the Banking or Financial Services sector.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills capable of driving change and leading technical teams including Excellent Project Management Skills, Strong Problem-Solving Skills and timely result orientation.
Nice to have
- Certification in VMware or Nutanix is advantageous.
- Certification of CKA/REDHAT Open shift is advantageous.
- Certification in MSSE or RHCE is advantageous.
