DEMAND PLANNING INVENTORY CONTROL - SENIOR EXECUTIVE
About the role
The Senior Executive - Demand Planning and Inventory Control at ProActiveChain is responsible for forecasting demand and planning inventory for global e-commerce brands across platforms such as Amazon, Shopify, TikTok Shop, BOL, and Walmart. The role involves analyzing sales data, identifying trends, and ensuring optimal stock levels to prevent stockouts or excess inventory. The position also supports the development of an in-house planning system by documenting processes, coordinating with developers, and validating system outputs. Candidates will work closely with clients and internal teams to align forecasts with business goals and contribute to continuous improvement and innovation in demand forecasting.
Must have
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management / Statistics or related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in demand planning / forecasting, ideally in e-commerce or retail.
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, formulas, data modeling).
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Strong communicator who can work across teams, manage multiple client accounts, and coordinate with an external development team.
- Comfortable explaining planning logic to non-planning people (developers) and translating their questions back to the team.
- Detail-oriented, and driven by ownership and accountability.
- Prior experience working with or helping build a system (ERP, planning tool, or custom-built platform) - ideally on the “giving requirements to developers” side.
- Most importantly: someone who’s open to discussing improvements, experimenting with ideas, and adding value beyond the job description.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central, ERP systems, or inventory tools is a plus.
