About the role
The Assistant Manager - IT Program/Project Management at Hayleys Retail Holdings Limited is responsible for leading and coordinating the successful delivery of the organization's IT project portfolio. The role involves managing end-to-end IT projects, collaborating with business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams, supporting new store IT implementations, and driving project governance, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives. Candidates should have a relevant degree and proven experience in IT project or program management, with strong proficiency in project management tools and stakeholder engagement skills. Must have
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related discipline, with professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent being an added advantage.
- Minimum proven experience in IT Project Management, Program Management, or a similar role with a demonstrated track record of successfully delivering multiple projects concurrently.
- Strong proficiency in project management and collaboration tools including MS Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Sound understanding of enterprise IT systems and business applications including POS systems, ERP solutions, e-commerce platforms, infrastructure implementations, and change management processes.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, negotiation, vendor management, and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented professional with strong analytical, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities, able to perform effectively in fast-paced and demanding environments.
