Business Consultant
About the role
Xeptagon is seeking a Business Consultant to join their team, focusing on client-facing responsibilities that involve understanding complex business and policy requirements and translating them into practical digital solutions. The role covers projects in climate finance, carbon markets, digital MRV, sustainability, data platforms, and digital transformation, supporting clients across multiple countries. Key responsibilities include engaging with clients, conducting requirement-gathering sessions, translating requirements into specifications, supporting solution design, preparing documentation, and coordinating with international clients and partners. The ideal candidate will have a relevant bachelor's degree, over five years of experience in business analysis or consulting, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Must have
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, Management or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis, consulting, product implementation or technology projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to understand both business requirements and technology.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence working directly with clients and senior stakeholders.
- Ability to take ownership and work effectively in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
Nice to have
- Experience in climate technology, sustainability, carbon markets, fintech, ESG, enterprise software or international development projects would be an advantage, but is not mandatory.
