About the role
The Intern - Operations role at Wavenet involves assisting in the management and maintenance of Linux servers and related infrastructure, supporting telecommunication systems, developing scripts to automate tasks, monitoring system performance, and maintaining documentation. The intern will work closely with team members and other departments to ensure smooth operations and effective communication. Candidates should have a degree in a relevant field, basic Linux knowledge, familiarity with telecommunications, scripting proficiency, strong analytical and communication skills, and attention to detail. Must have
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications or a related field.
- Basic understanding of Linux operating systems, including installation, configuration and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with telecommunications systems and concepts.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or similar.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of WSO2 API Manager is an added advantage.
