About the role
JAAN Network (Pvt) Ltd, a leading software company in Colombo 03, is seeking Junior Business Development Executives to join their expanding sales team. The role focuses on driving sales growth for POS software and custom software solutions by identifying prospects, conducting outbound cold calls, running lead generation campaigns on Meta Ads, and converting leads into clients. Candidates should be passionate about software sales, comfortable with cold calling, and able to explain technical products to non-technical clients. Must have
- A genuine passion for software sales and a strong drive to hit and beat targets
- Degree, diploma, or equivalent in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
- Hands-on familiarity with Meta Ads (Ads Manager, targeting, lead forms) is a must
- Comfortable with cold calling and lead conversion
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Strong communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills
- Able to understand technical products well enough to explain them to non-technical clients
Nice to have
- Previous experience in software, SaaS, or B2B sales
- Understanding of POS systems
- Basic knowledge of CRM tools
