Assistant Manager Corporate Sales
About the role
The Assistant Manager – Corporate Sales will be responsible for driving B2B hardware revenue by identifying and developing enterprise clients, managing bulk purchases and corporate contracts, and promoting commercial computing solutions. The role involves client acquisition, business development, account management, solution selling, proposal development, commercial negotiation, sales pipeline management, cross-functional collaboration, and market intelligence. The ideal candidate should have experience in IT hardware sales, account management, and business development, with strong communication and negotiation skills. The position is onsite in Narahenpita, Sri Lanka, within the Information Technology Hardware & Enterprise Solutions industry.
Must have
- Minimum 2–3 years of proven B2B sales or corporate account management experience within the IT hardware industry.
- Experience selling laptops, desktops, servers, workstations, or enterprise computing solutions.
- Strong and progressive experience in corporate sales and account management.
- Strong understanding of major hardware brands such as Dell, HP, Lenovo, Asus, and related enterprise technology solutions.
- Knowledge of processor tiers, enterprise security features, operating systems, and commercial hardware configurations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage complex sales negotiations.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Valid riding or driving licence with willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits.
Nice to have
- Educational background in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Information Technology, or related disciplines will be an advantage.
