Senior Software Engineer — Java
About the role
This is a Senior Software Engineer position focused on backend development using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Keycloak, and microservices architecture. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining secure, scalable backend systems, implementing authentication and authorization solutions, and integrating with databases and external APIs. The engineer will also work with DevOps teams on Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines, contribute to system architecture, and mentor junior and mid-level engineers. Must have
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong experience with Java.
- Strong experience with Spring Boot.
- Strong knowledge of Spring Security.
- Hands-on experience with Keycloak.
- Good understanding of OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, authentication, and authorization.
- Strong experience designing and developing microservices.
- Experience developing REST APIs.
- Good knowledge of SQL databases such as PostgreSQL/MySQL.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD.
- Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong knowledge of software architecture and design patterns.
Nice to have
- AWS or other cloud platforms.
- Kafka or other messaging systems.
- Redis.
- Kubernetes / Helm.
- Terraform.
- API Gateway.
- Observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Dynatrace.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
