Full Stack Engineer Intern
About the role
The Full Stack Engineer Intern at Axio360 Ventures will support the design, development, and maintenance of web applications in a full-time remote capacity. The intern will work on both front-end and back-end tasks, including implementing user interfaces, building and testing APIs, integrating third-party services, and optimizing application performance. The role involves collaborating with senior engineers, participating in code reviews, and contributing to technical documentation and iterative improvements. Must have
- Candidates should possess a solid understanding of Front-End Development, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or similar technologies, with the ability to build responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
- Familiarity with Back-End Web Development using technologies such as Node.js, Go, Python, Java, or similar frameworks to develop secure, maintainable, and scalable APIs and services.
- Understanding of Full-Stack Development, including integrating front-end applications with back-end APIs, databases, authentication systems, and third-party services.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, HTTP concepts, JSON, authentication/authorization, and API integration.
- Experience with relational or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar technologies is beneficial.
- Familiarity with Git and GitHub or similar version-control platforms, including branching, pull requests, merge workflows, and collaborative code reviews.
- Basic knowledge of DevOps and containerization practices, including Docker and Docker Compose, for creating consistent development and deployment environments.
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools, such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or similar platforms, is beneficial.
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including common concepts around application deployment, storage, networking, and cloud services, is advantageous.
- Exposure to deployment and infrastructure technologies such as Linux, NGINX, reverse proxies, environment configuration, DNS, SSL/TLS, and basic server administration is a plus.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, monitoring, logging, or other modern DevOps practices is considered an advantage but is not required.
- Understanding of fundamental software engineering principles, including clean code, debugging, testing, documentation, security, and application performance optimization.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new technologies in a fast-moving product environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication and collaboration skills, along with the ability to work independently and responsibly in a remote environment.
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
